Being Sun Smart

With summer in full swing, most families are enjoying being out and about in the sunshine. Your little ones will be out in shorts and T-shirts and lovely rompers and dresses, enjoying a great New Zealand summer.

With the increase in daylight hours and lovely warm days also comes the danger of sun burn. It is important to make sure you always apply SPF30+ at least 15 minutes before going outdoors and re-apply every 2 hours. The Cancer Society of New Zealand recommend all New Zealanders to Slip, Slop, Slap and Wrap whenever outdoors. Make sure you keep your children safe and be sun smart this summer.
